About CRAFT SMS
CRAFT SMS is a digital platform for schools, teachers, administrators, students, and families. It supports communication, attendance, announcements, assignment flow, reminders, and daily school coordination in one place.
Eligibility
To use the platform, users should be authorized by a school or institution, meet the minimum age required by their local law, and use the service for lawful educational or administrative purposes.
User accounts
Users may need an account to access certain tools. They should keep login details secure, report unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for activity tied to their account.
Acceptable use
The service may not be used for harassment, spam, malware, fraud, or any action that interferes with security or platform performance.
Data privacy
CRAFT SMS respects student, parent, staff, and school privacy. Data may include contact details, attendance information, academic records, usage logs, and messaging history. This information is handled for school operations, service delivery, security, and product improvement.

14. Changes to Terms

15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed in accordance with applicable local and international digital service laws relevant to the operating jurisdiction of CRAFT SMS and its institutional partners.

17. Onboarding Free Trial Pilot
CRAFT SMS offers a complimentary two-month pilot program for new institutional users. During this period, full platform access is granted to evaluate the system. Upon conclusion of the pilot, transition to a paid subscription is required for continued service.
17.1 Responsibilities of the Institution
- Designate a primary point of contact (e.g., ICT Director or Vice Principal) to oversee deployment.
- Provide necessary student and staff roster data via standard CSV/Excel templates for rapid system initialization.
- Commit to actively using the platform for daily operations (e.g., attendance tracking, digital library access, messaging).
- Provide bi-weekly constructive feedback to the technical team to aid in platform optimization.
17.2 Infrastructure & Fair-Use Guardrails
To protect infrastructure integrity and prevent system abuse during the complimentary pilot, the following usage caps are strictly applied to the tenant environment:
- User Cap: Maximum of 300 students and associated staff accounts.
- Storage Cap: A maximum limit of 3 GB of cloud storage for the Digital Library and E-learning materials.
- SMS Allocations: A total allotment of 500 complimentary bulk SMS alerts for the entire duration of the trial.
Upon exhaustion of the 500 SMS cap, the system will automatically transition to In-App Push Notifications (which remain entirely free and unlimited). Standard SMS functionality can be extended at the local telecom market rate if requested by the Institution.
17.3 Confidentiality & Data Ownership
- All student, grade, and institutional data uploaded remains the strict property of the Institution.
- The Service Provider will never sell, distribute, or utilize institutional data for third party marketing purposes.
- Both parties agree to keep any proprietary technical workflows, pricing discussions, or feedback strictly confidential.
17.4 Post-Pilot Transition & Early Adopter Incentive
- This pilot program is provided completely free of licensing and software subscription fees.
- The Incentive: Upon successful completion of the pilot, if the Institution elects to retain the CRAFT SMS platform for the subsequent academic term, a permanent 30% "Early Adopter" discount will be applied to the standard annual or term based subscription rates.
- If the Institution chooses not to renew, all institutional records will be safely exported and the tenant account will be terminated within 14 days of the pilot's conclusion.
